Corinthian kotyle. Wall rises steeply from slightly flared ring foot with flat resting surface. Interior glazed black. Exterior preserved zone of fine vertical rays rising from horizontal line at base of wall. Exterior of foot glazed red, resting surface glazed black. Underside reserved with two concentric red lines near foot.
Fabric, firing, and surface description
Fine, hard clay, with very few tiny voids and inclusions. Fine, thin, even, semilutrous black glaze on interior and resting surface and red on exterior of foot.
Preservation comment
One fragment preserves roughly one third of base and small part of lower wall. Moderate, somewhat extensive abrasion and pitting and slight chipping around edges; slight, sparse encrustation.
