- Description
- Plate or dish. Wide, low ting foot has vertical but angular outer face and sloping inner face. Flat floor slightly sloping upward out from base.
- Fabric, firing, and surface description
- Material typical for early ware: very fine, pale fabric with thick, even, slightly lustrous slip, slightly more orange on interior and slightly more red on exterior; part of double dipping streak preserved.
- Preservation comment
- One small sherd preserves 5% of base and small part of floor. Slight to moderate, extensive abrasion; worn breaks; specks of encrustation.
