Plate or dish. Wide, low ting foot has vertical but angular outer face and sloping inner face. Flat floor slightly sloping upward out from base.
Fabric, firing, and surface description
Material typical for early ware: very fine, pale fabric with thick, even, slightly lustrous slip, slightly more orange on interior and slightly more red on exterior; part of double dipping streak preserved.
Preservation comment
One small sherd preserves 5% of base and small part of floor. Slight to moderate, extensive abrasion; worn breaks; specks of encrustation.
