Description
Rounded shoulder and cylindrical neck, slightly convex. Handle attaches at base of neck and shoulder; oval in section with flattened outer face and faint ridging.
Fabric, firing, and surface description
Fine fabric with slightly granular break; infrequent, well sorted, tiny to small, subrounded, white (calcitic) inclusions, rare, small, subangular, dark gray to black inclusions visible at surface; and faintly micaceous. Consistently fired. Deep finger impressions at lower handle from attachment to shoulder.
Preservation comment
One intact handle and small part of contiguous neck and shoulder. Slight, extensive abrasion and rare chipping; worn breaks; extensive, thick film of gritty encrustation.
