Description
Attic bowl. Nearly vertical ring foot; tooled junction of foot and lower wall. Black glaze on interior. Preserved traces of lower wall are reserved on the exterior, with some dripped glaze reaching down to foot. Classical-Hellenistic.
Fabric, firing, and surface description
Fine, hard clay with very few tiny voids and some micaceous inclusions. Thin, semi-lustrous, black glaze on interior.
Preservation comment
One large fragment preserves most of base and small part of lower wall. Moderate, somewhat extensive erosion and abrasion, especially around breaks; large chip perforating in area of base; slight, sparse encrustation.
