Fabric, firing, and surface description
Pale brown with a tinge of orange or red, consistently fired; hard, medium coarse; granular to hackly break; numerous, small, well sorted, sandy inclusions, mostly rounded to spherical: many dark red and brown, many quartizitic, fewer calcareous; very rare, medium, subangular, white inclusions, few spalling: chalk or limestone? Variety of northern Galilean to southern Phoenician, not unlike LRA5 sandy orange fabric. Sim. KTH1119; KTH2058.
Preservation comment
One sherd preserves 10% of rim and small part of upper neck with one upper handle and attachment. Slight, somewhat sparse abrasion and pitting and chipping; slightly worn breaks; thin, extensive encrustation and dark gray discoloration (post-depositional).
