Bowl or dish. Small, low, false ring foot. Flaring, curved lower wall.
Fabric, firing, and surface description
Orangish brown fabric, consistently fired; hard, fine, with granular break; uncommon, small, lime bits. Somewhat thick, even, dull matte slip, slightly more red than fabric, on interior; underside plain. Brush marks on interior; turning scratches on exterior. Classic LRC.
Preservation comment
One small sherd preserves 8% of base and lower wall. Very sparse, slight abrasion, scraping and chipping; mostly clean breaks; slight film of encrustation across breaks.
