Typological identification
Small handled amphora stopper
Description
Knob handled stopper. About half preserved. Dimple present on top of knob handle. Lumpy texture. Made in “Southern Argolid Fabric”.
Fabric, firing, and surface description
Usual LRA2 Argolid fabric; rare lime chunks visible on surface; limited, tiny micaceous golden flakes on surface. Consistently fired red throughout. Surface not visibly slipped; not well finished on both top and bottom.
Preservation comment
Single piece preserving under half of rim circumference; knob handle complete.
