sim. Hammond2015, no. 407; same family as KTH870 but simpler design.
Description
Horizontal rim, rounded exterior face but sharp edges on underside and inside top. Upper body convex directly below rim but tapers steeply downward. Turning marks on exterior.
Fabric, firing, and surface description
Granular fabric has red/pink core and is light brown towards the surface; frequent small to medium light angular inclusions; other tiny bits. All extant surfaces are pale light brown; occasional golden mica. Standard LRA2 Southern Argolid fabric, firing, and surface treatment.
Preservation comment
One sherd preserves ca. 10% of rim and small part of upper body. Clean breaks; somewhat thick, rough, extensive patches of encrustation on all surfaces.
