Pale orangish red fired to off-white at surface (2-3 mm); coarse, slightly soft, with granular break; frequent, small, mixed sand including subangular to subrounded, red, brown, and dark gray; few flecks of silvery mica. Surface faintly smoothed. Eastern Cilician.
Preservation comment
One large sherd preserves ca. 25% of upper shoulder and neck. Extensive, moderate abrasion and scoring with severe flaking; worn breaks; little or no encrustation.
