Description
Domed lid. Inverted conical knob handle, marked by two sharp grooves below, and pierced down through the middle.
Fabric, firing, and surface description
Brownish red fired to gray at surface (1-2 mm); medium coarse, somewhat hard, with granular break; abundant, small to medium, subangular and angular, light inclusions (quartzitic sand, white, gray), some elongated; also embedded in surface.
Preservation comment
One sherd preserves entire handle and small part of body. Somewhat sparse, slight abrasion and gouging around edges; worn breaks; little of no encrustation.
