Bowl. Globular body tapering upward. Short, slightly everted, with lentoid profile, distinctly tooled below. Light wheel-ridging on exterior.
Fabric, firing, and surface description
Reddish yellow interior and outer face of rim; washed exterior surface buff with clouds of brownish red; slightly granular break; infrequent, poorly sorted, small, subangular and subrounded white (calcareous) chunks, some embedded in surface; rare, large, subrounded gray chunks and light red pellets, visible at surface; other varied tiny bits, many light; one large void on inner face of rim. South Argolid fabric. Exterior surface thinly washed; light brushstrokes on all surfaces.
Preservation comment
Two joining sherds (2166+2237) preserve 40% of rim and body almost to bottom. Slight, somewhat extensive abrasion and minor shipping; mostly clean breaks; very rare specks of encrustation.
