Description
Dish. Thickened, incurved rim with rounded top and triangular profile, slight hook underneath.
Fabric, firing, and surface description
Fabric consistently fired to pale brown with a tinge of pink; slightly gritty and soft; occassional small, round, lime bits; rare tiny mixed bits; very rare, isolated, medium, angular inclusions exploding at surface. Thin, even, dull matte slip, orangish red, on interior and over rim has fine brushmarks; exterior plain with turning bands. Athenian.
Preservation comment
One sherd preserves 8% of rim and small part of upper body. Slight, sparse abrasion and pitting; worn breaks. Scattered specks to patches of encrustation.
