Dish. Flaring, straight upper wall. Wide, horizontal rim that narrows to rounded lip with thickened inner edge and small groove on upper face near edge.
Fabric, firing, and surface description
Pale red fabric, slightly gritty, hard; smooth to granular break. Uncommon, poorly sorted, small, lime and dark (mostly black) bits. Orangish red slip, thick, semilustrous, and even. Fine smoothing bands.
Preservation comment
One small sherd preserves <5% of rim. Very slight, sparse abrasion and minor chipping around edges; slightly worn breaks; scattered specks of encrustation. Gray discoloration across slip and fabric from secondary exposure to fire.
