Description
Low arching, thin tile. Lateral margin is beveled and thickened upward; end margin is vertical and raised very slightly on top edge. Faint inscribed design on top surface traces lines and arches.
Fabric, firing, and surface description
Buff. Dense, soft, slightly coarse fabric, gritty, with infrequent, small to medium-sized, subangular, black, white, and gray inclusions and rare larger lime chunks, a few exploding at the surface. Cf. KTH810, KTH2370, KTH2461. Somewhat thick, dull, even slip lighter color than fabric painted on all surfaces.
Preservation comment
One fragment preserves part of tile with two finished edges. Slight, sparse abrasion; specks of encrustation.
