Description
Bowl. Curving upper wall. Everted rim with rounded top and lip. Row of bulging, vertical lines incised on exterior below lip.
Fabric, firing, and surface description
Buff fabric with a tinge of pink. Medium hard, fine; smooth break. Rare, small, subrounded, lime inclusions; very rare, small, subangular, dark bits; faint sparkles at surface (micaceous?). Orangish red with a tinge of brown, thin, even, semimatte slip on interior and exterior, peeling everywhere in small flakes. Regional.
Preservation comment
One sherd preserves 8% of rim and small part of uppermost wall. Slight to moderate, somewhat extensive abrasion with chipping along edges; worn breaks; rare specks to small patches of encrustation.
