Description
Pale pink, consistently fired. Fine, somewhat soft, with smooth unfinished surfce; uncommon lime particles (one exploding on both surfaces) and other smaller varied bits. Regional.
Description
Thin band of white mortar adhering near base, from attachment to contiguous pipe.
Preservation comment
One sherd preserves ca. 25% of rim down to connection to pipe. Slight, sparse abrasion and scratching; slightly worn breaks; faint incipient encrustation(?).
