Cooking dish. Rim horizontal to slightly flaring with concave upper face; interior edge has slight ridge for sitting lid. Transition from rim to body marked by slight groove.
Fabric, firing, and surface description
Granular red fabric with frequent varied “sandy” inclusions. Unslipped.
Preservation comment
One sherd preserves ca. 10% of rim, but missing much of lip, with adjacent upper body. Slight, sparse abrasion; worn breaks; somewhat thick, extensive film of encrustation especially on exterior.
