- Description
- Low arching, thin tile. Lateral margin is beveled to angular and almost hooked inward; end margin is vertical and raised slightly into ridge on top edge. Two grooves made by finger along lateral and end margins on top.
- Fabric, firing, and surface description
- Orange red. Soft, medium coarse, consistently fired fabric with frequent, very small, subangular black (carbon?) and few very small white inclusions; uncommon spherical to subangular voids. Thin, dull, uneven slip on exterior slightly darker than fabric. Slight scoring on interior. Same as KTH2496 and KTH2505.
- Preservation comment
- One small fragment preserves part of tile with two finished edges. Slight, sparse abrasion; slight film of encrustation. Black discoloration in patches near edge on exterior and across interior from scorching.
