Bowl. Straight flaring upper wall. Rim projects out horizontally; outer face is round, upper face marked by two grooves.
Fabric, firing, and surface description
Fabric: buff with a tinge of pink. Slip: orangish red to dark brownish red. Very fine, somewhat soft; smooth break. Rare, small to medium, subrounded, lime chunks; rare tiny black bits; rare (micaceous?) sparkles at surface. Thin, uneven, semiglossy slip, flaking in small chips. Fine turning lines on interior and around rim. Corinthian.
Preservation comment
One small sherd preserves 8% of rim and small part of upper body. Moderate, extensive abrasion and chipping and rare scratching to gouging; very worn breaks. Cloud of secondary scorching across body.
