Irregular hollow lid handle: pinched on sides, flat on top.
Fabric, firing, and surface description
5R 5/4 (weak red). Coarse fabric has frequent, light, angular inclusions, also embedded in the surface. All surfaces fired patchy light brown to grey.
Preservation comment
One sherd preserves entire knob but none of body. Slight, extensive abrasion and pitting and occasional chipping; work edges. Sparse specks of encrustation.
