Large plate. High ring foot, slightly splayed and triangular, with somewhat angular bottom. Slight offset at inner joint between foot and bottom. Faint rouletting in two(?) bands on outside face of foot. Wide floor with straight walls; chamfer on floor over to just outside foot.
Fabric, firing, and surface description
Slightly granular, reddish fabric with few small, elongated and few angular, “lime” inclusions, some other very small light bits. Interior slip thick and somewhat smoothed; exterior slip is matte with some light turning bands.
One large sherd preserves ca. 25% of base and floor. Moderate, extensive abrasion and pitting and chipping around edges; thick encrustation (pooling water?) especially on floor.
