Description
Convex body. Painted design of five or more curving lines in parallel and a circle or spiral. Turning ridges.
Fabric, firing, and surface description
Reddish brown to orange fabric, slightly granular, with frequent varied tiny sandy inclusions, occasional round lime and angular quartz. Consistently fired to slightly darker red at surface. Thin, somewhat even, matte paint is yellowish white. Northern Palestinian.
Preservation comment
One small body sherd. Slight to modern, extensive abrasion, sparse gouging, and chipping around edges; worn breaks; thin film of encrustation.
