Description
Straight bifid handle. Hellenistic or Roman amphora.
Fabric, firing, and surface description
Reddish-brown surfaces with gray core. Slightly coarse fabric with frequent, angular, elongated “lime“ inclusions, darker angular stones, and smaller varied bits.
Preservation comment
One small fragment of handle. Moderate, extensive pitting and abrasion; worn breaks; slight but frequent specks to streaks of encrustation.
