- Description
- Low arching, thin tile. Lateral margin is beveled to angular and almost hooked inward.
- Fabric, firing, and surface description
- Orange red. Soft, medium coarse, consistently fired fabric with frequent, very small, subangular white and black inclusions; uncommon spherical to subangular voids. Thin, dull, uneven slip on exterior slightly darker than fabric. Deep longitudinal grooves by finger on interior; slight scoring on exterior. Same as KTH2496.
- Preservation comment
- One small fragment preserves part of tile with one finished edge. Slight, sparse abrasion; extensive film of encrustation; slight, extensive black discoloration: scorching?
