Description
Small plate or shallow bowl. Horizontal rim with rilled upper surface and flat underside. Outer edge is slightly concave with light incised groove just below upper surface. Non-Attic import. Hellenistic.
Fabric, firing, and surface description
Fine, hard clay with uncommon small, rounded voids and uncommon, small, subrounded to subangular, black and fewer, smaller, angular, gray inclusions. Unglazed.
Preservation comment
One sherd preserves ca. 5% of rim. Slight, somewhat extensive abrasion and chipping; worn breaks; sparse patches of encrustation.
