- Description
- Large thin-walled mug. Ovoid body to steeply sloping, rounded shoulder. Short, sharply flaring rim with rounded lip; two distinct grooves on exterior face of rim extending down over junction between neck and shoulder.
- Fabric, firing, and surface description
- Fine, very hard clay with many small voids and small to medium-sized, subangular, black inclusions, many breaking through surface of fabric. Unglazed.
- Preservation comment
- One sherd preserves ca. 20% of rim and upper body. Slight, somewhat extensive abrasion; worn breaks; slight patches of encrustation and gray staining.
