Large thin-walled mug. Ovoid body to steeply sloping, rounded shoulder. Short, sharply flaring rim with rounded lip; two distinct grooves on exterior face of rim extending down over junction between neck and shoulder.
Fabric, firing, and surface description
Fine, very hard clay with many small voids and small to medium-sized, subangular, black inclusions, many breaking through surface of fabric. Unglazed.
Preservation comment
One sherd preserves ca. 20% of rim and upper body. Slight, somewhat extensive abrasion; worn breaks; slight patches of encrustation and gray staining.
