Description
Corinthian kotyle. Slight ring foot with bevel on inside and sharp outer edge. Convex lower body. Traces of glaze on exterior but lower part of wall may be reserved. Glazed exterior of foot and inner bevel; resting surface and underside reserved. Archaic-Classical.
Fabric, firing, and surface description
Fine, moderately soft clay with very rare voids and tiny, white inclusions. Thin, apparently even but very fugitive black glaze.
Preservation comment
One sherd preserves ca. 25% of base and small part of lower wall. Moderate, extensive abrasion, slight gouging and chipping; worn breaks; few specks of encrustation.
