Description
Corinthian kotyle. Wide, slightly convex wall. Slightly flaring ring foot with tooled inner edge. Black glaze on interior and exterior; resting surface, inside of foot reserved; underside preserves part of concentric band. Archaic.
Fabric, firing, and surface description
Fine, moderately hard clay with very few tiny voids and inclusions. Dull, streaky black glaze of variable thickness.
Preservation comment
One fragment preserves less than one quarter of wall and base. Slight, extensive abrasion and chipping on all surfaces; scattered specks of encrustation.
