Description
Attic banded amphora or pitcher with convex wall. Narrow horizontal band of black glaze on exterior. Classical.
Fabric, firing, and surface description
Fine, moderately hard clay, slightly micaceous, with very few tiny voids and inclusions. Thin, dull black glaze.
Preservation comment
Small body sherd. Slight, somewhat extensive abrasion and pitting; specks of encrustation.
