- Description
- Bowl. Flaring, curving middle to upper body. Steeply out-turned rim with plain rounded lip; band-grooved at joint between wall and rim. From Asia Minor?
- Fabric, firing, and surface description
- Fabric: 2.5YR6/6. Slip: 2.5YR5/4. Fine, moderately hard clay with few tiny voids and uncommon, small, subrounded, white and gray inclusions. Somehat thick, even, matt slip on inside and outside.
- Preservation comment
- Two joining sherds preserve ca. 20% of rim and upper wall. Moderate, extensive abrasion; worn edges. Slight film of encrustation.
