Description
Bowl. Flaring, curving middle to upper body. Steeply out-turned rim with plain rounded lip; band-grooved at joint between wall and rim. From Asia Minor?
Fabric, firing, and surface description
Fabric: 2.5YR6/6. Slip: 2.5YR5/4. Fine, moderately hard clay with few tiny voids and uncommon, small, subrounded, white and gray inclusions. Somehat thick, even, matt slip on inside and outside.
Preservation comment
Two joining sherds preserve ca. 20% of rim and upper wall. Moderate, extensive abrasion; worn edges. Slight film of encrustation.
