Typological identification comment
Aegean type “urnetta a collarino.“
Description
Vertical loop handle, oval in section with rounded sides. It would have attached against rim and to upper or middle body of mug.
Fabric, firing, and surface description
Fine, hard fabric, reddish brown, fired consistently, with rare, small, poorly sorted, subrounded, lime chunks; very rare, tiny to small, subangular black inclusions; silvery micaceous; very rare spalling. Eastern Thin-Walled ware.
Preservation comment
One sherd preserves one entire handle but none of attached body. Very sparse, slight abrasion and pitting; worn breaks; thin patches of encrustation.
