Circular outline. Discus slopes down and inward; two framing grooves toward rim. Thin walls with thick interior join, sloping steeply inward toward base.
Description
Early Roman Corinthian “white“ lamp fabric: pale buff, fine, somewhat soft. Slip: 10YR 5/1, reddish gray. Thin, somewhat even, semimatte, flaking everywhere in small bits, covers discus and extends slightly down walls.
Preservation comment
One fragment preserves roughly one quarter of outer discus and rim. Slight, sparse abrasion and slight, somewhat extensive encrustation.
