Pitcher. Low ring base, splayed outward, with rounded outer face; canted underside. Wide, rounded lower body: spherical?
Fabric, firing, and surface description
Reddish brown but exterior surface fired slightly darker; very slightly coarse, hard, with smooth break; frequent, small, angular, light inclusions with other tiny bits; few larger lime bits. Turning grooves on interior.
Preservation comment
One sherd preserves 50% of base and small part of lower body. Slight, sparse abrasion and scraping across surface; worn breaks; scattered specks of encrustation. Amorphous cloud of gray discoloration on floor: post-depositional?
