Description
Convex body. Painted design of four curving, vertical lines. Turning ridges.
Fabric, firing, and surface description
Reddish brown fabric, slightly granular, with frequent varied tiny “sandy” inclusions, occasional round lime and angular quartz. Consistently fired to slightly darker red at surface. Thin, somewhat even, matte paint is yellowish white.
Preservation comment
One small body sherd. Slight to moderate, extensive abrasion and chipping around edges; worn breaks; sparse patches of encrustation.
