Late Roman Cooking Ware
Description
Convex (globular?) body. Short, vertical neck up to everted, horizontal rim with flat upper surface and rounded outer edge.
Fabric, firing, and surface description
Granular fabric is brownish-red with frequent light small angular inclusions, some elongated; also embedded in surface. Interior surface is brown to grey towards upper face of rim; exterior is grey. Light brush marks on exterior surface.

Preservation comment
One sherd preserves ca. 12-15% of rim and small part of upper wall. Slight, extensive abrasion, pitting, and scoring; large patches of thin encrustation; water-worn.
