Description
Convex body. Painted design of thick spiral touching vertical line. Turning ridges.
Fabric, firing, and surface description
Reddish brown to orange fabric, slightly granular, with frequent varied tiny sandy inclusions, occasional round lime and angular quartz. Consistently fired to slightly darker red at surface. Thin, somewhat even, matte paint is yellowish white. Northern Palestinian.
Preservation comment
One small body sherd. Slight, somewhat extensive abrasion and chipping around edges; worn breaks; sparse specks to patches of encrustation.
