Description
Attic Pyxis. Straight wall with triangular flange. Black glaze over all. Hellenistic.
Fabric, firing, and surface description
Fine, moderately soft clay, slightly micaceous, with few inclusions and voids. Thick, even, lustrous black glaze survives in large patches but chipped.
Preservation comment
One small sherd preserves small part of body. Extensive, slight abrasion and chipping; heavily worn edges; sparse specks of encrustation.
