- Description
- Attic Pyxis. Straight wall with triangular flange. Black glaze over all. Hellenistic.
- Fabric, firing, and surface description
- Fine, moderately soft clay, slightly micaceous, with few inclusions and voids. Thick, even, lustrous black glaze survives in large patches but chipped.
- Preservation comment
- One small sherd preserves small part of body. Extensive, slight abrasion and chipping; heavily worn edges; sparse specks of encrustation.
