Trefoil mouthed pitcher of uncertain form (oinochoe or olpe). Wide, convex should. Tall, troncoconical neck with flaring rim to lip slightly angular on outer face and pointed on upper face. Upper handle attaches at lip. Non-Attic import. Classical-Hellenistic.
Fabric, firing, and surface description
Semi-fine, moderately hard clay with frequent, tiny to small, subangular, black and white inclusions; light gray core. Unglazed.
Preservation comment
One sherd preserves 25-30% of rim and neck and small part of shoulder. Slight, somewhat sparse abrasion and pitting; worn breaks; faint specks of encrustation but mostly clean surface.
