- Description
- Miniature plate. Flat bottom; shallow flaring wall. Broad rim rises with slight convex curve and ends in everted lip. Black glaze overall. Classical.
- Fabric, firing, and surface description
- Fine, moderately soft clay with small voids and tiny inclusions. Thin, uneven, dull black glaze is fugitive.
- Preservation comment
- One sherd preserves over one quarter of vessel. Slight, somewhat extensive abrasion and very slight pitting and chipping; worn edges; sparse specks of encrustation.
