Description
Solid spike tapers downward; widely flaring lower wall. Ridging on exterior.
Fabric, firing, and surface description
Fabric: 10R 5/8, red. Slightly darker core; fired dark gray on surfaces (around 10R 4/1, dark reddish gray). Coarse fabric with uncommon small to medium-sized, subangular to subrounded, black, gray and white inclusions, few larger white (“lime“); occasional voids (spalling).

Preservation comment
One sherd preserves most of spike (missing tip) with transition to wall. Slight, extensive abrasion on all surfaces and severe chipping around edges; thin, sparse patches of encrustation on all surfaces.
