Sherd stopper (LRA2)
Description
Stopper cut from body of LRA2 amphora. Entire outer surface has wavy combing. Interior with shallow turning bands.
Fabric, firing, and surface description
Usual Argolid LRA2 fabric. Frequent small light chunks and other tiny bits; occasional golden micaceous flakes.
Preservation comment
Intact. Slight chipping around edges; worn breaks; heavy plaster encrustation on outer amphora surface.
