Fabric pale red (10R 7/3) at core to pinkish or light red (10R 7/6) close to surface. Medium coarse, somewhat soft, with granular break; uncommon, small, subangular, irregular white (calcareous) inclusions; uncommon, tiny to small, rounded, black grains; rare, tiny gray bits; and rare, small, rounded voids. Thin, even, matte “black slip” on interior and upper rim (7.5YR 4/2, weak red); grayish self-slip on exterior. Fine horizontal brushstrokes in slip. Attic product.
