Wide dish. Flaring wall that turns upward slightly toward rim. Thickened, plain rim with rounded to pointed inner edge; outer face has wide flange that is now broken off, defined below by sharp, small groove. Scale and surviving features consistent with Hayes Form 5A.
Fabric, firing, and surface description
Where visible, fabric, firing, and surface treatment are classic LRC. Slip slightly thicker and more smoothed on interior, thin and unsmoothed on exterior.
Preservation comment
One small sherd preserves ca. 8% of rim and small part of upper body. Slight, extensive abrasion and minor chipping; worn breaks; extensive, thick, irregular coating of plaster.
