Late Roman Long-Spout Funnel
Description
Incurved, rounded rim. Deep channel under rim is offset from outer face of bowl by sharp carination. Bowl has steeply flaring walls. This form usually has long spout.
Fabric, firing, and surface description
Where visible, fabric is very slightly granular with rare tiny light inclusions.
Preservation comment
One sherd preserves ca. 10% of rim and small part of bowl. Slight to moderate, extensive abrasion; thick, irregular plaster on most surfaces and breaks.
