- Common form of small bowl (Hayes 98C/108), though carination and relatively thin wall leans toward 108=Bonifay2004 Sigillée types 58/59 (7th c.)
- Description
- Bowl. Ring foot; slightly carinated.
- Fabric, firing, and surface description
- Deep red fabric is coarse with frequent angular, light, sandy bits. Slip is thick and glossy, brushed on interior surface, fired to same color as fabric; thinner and flaking in patches on exterior.
- Preservation comment
- One sherd preserves small part of lower wall with only slightest bit of turn to base. Slight sparse abrasion and chipping to flaking around edges; somewhat worn breaks.
