Like KL171 the overall format is inspired by Italian predecessor (q.v.) but the contours, shoulder design, and material of KL115 more closely approach the qualities of Broneer XXVII.

Description
Circular, concave, plain discus has cylindrical stump of central suspension handle, filling hole above, and wide framing ring. Broad, sloping shoulder has large ovules terminating at nozzle with small trilobate rosettes. Long, rounded nozzle with large volutes and small, partially punched airhole in channel; traces of burning.
Fabric, firing, surface
10YR 7/4, very pale brown. Early-Middle Roman Corinthian lamp fabric: somewhat soft, fine but mealy texture. Unglazed.
Preservation description
Ten joining fragments preserve most of shoulder and discus and entire nozzle. Sparse abrasion, slight abrasion; somewhat sharp breaks; slight, sparse encrustation.
