Description
Circular, concave discus has relief of uncertain design, raised rim, and two prominent flat framing rings. Slightly sloping, plain shoulder with rounded rim. Volute nozzle.
Fabric, firing, surface
Typical fabric, firing, and surface treatment for ware. Fabric: 7.5YR 7/4, pink. Slip: 10YR 6/4, light yellowish brown, to 7.5YR 5/4, brown. Slightly hard, fine fabric has uncommon, small, rounded, tabular, white inclusions and rare black specks. Dull slip varies slightly in thickness and color.
Preservation description
One large fragment preserves small part of discus, shoulder and nozzle. Slight, extensive abrasion; somewhat worn breaks; frequent patches of encrustation.
