Description
Circular, concave discus has relief of scallop shell, raised rim, and two prominent flat framing rings. Slightly sloping, plain shoulder with rounded rim. Volute nozzle.
Fabric, firing, and surface description
Fabric: 7.5YR 7/4, pink. Slip: 10YR 6/4, light yellowish brown, to 7.5YR 5/4, brown. Slightly hard, fine fabric has frequent, small, rounded, white inclusions. Dull slip varies in thickness and color. Sparse, large clay nodules. Corinthian.
Preservation comment
One large fragment preserves small part of discus, shoulder and nozzle. Traces of encrustation.
