Description
Thick, vertical rim with beveled inner edge and tapering lip, set off from body on exterior. Lug handle, triangular in section, attaches just below lip.
Fabric, firing, surface
5YR 4/6, yellowish red. Hard, medium coarse fabric with frequent, very small, rounded, white, brown, and black inclusions. Imported.
Preservation comment
One fragment preserves <25% of rim and ca. 50% of handle. Slight erosion and chipping; very slight, sparse encrustation.
